"The particular emphasis of the coaching sessions that I had with Rosarie Nolan was my career development. The sessions created a tremendous focus for me and have helped me project myself and my abilities to their fullest at interviews and at work. Rosarie has a very relaxed and confident manner and I immediately felt at ease in discussing my fears as well as career aspirations. She very accurately assessed my personality and encouraged me to believe in my abilities. She tailored the sessions perfectly to my needs and was always happy to discuss other matters which cropped up, for example, a relationship that has been historically strained but is an area I am making progress on now. She showed a great deal of commitment and understanding and I looked forward to every single session"................D. McG.
"I have really benefited from my sessions with Rosarie. She is very perceptive and it was uncanny how quickly she seemed to understand my personality and the way I react to things. She put me at ease straight away and I found it easy to talk to her. We have covered a lot of ground. The work we have done has made me look at my life slightly differently and I think I am living in a more positive and healthy manner than before"..................L.C.G
"One of the most important things Rosarie said to me in my first session was that I should simply try asking people for what I wanted on a regular basis. This was a fantastic piece of advice. I now ask for things far more than I did before and the response is usually positive. She encouraged me to make the most of the many contacts I had, to take risks and to acknowledge myself for doing so. This was really helpful. Rosarie is an inspirational sort of person with a great sense of humour. Although our sessions had obviously a serious point to them, they have also been fun and they have always left me feeling positive. By the end of the sessions I had got the job of my dreams, a fitting end to our work together".....................P. K.
"Having been helped by my coach to identify the diverse motivations involved, I was able to separate out those which were to do with my desire to please my boss and those which were to do with wanting things to work for my team. I have taken charge of the task, rather than doing it in the way I felt was prescribed, and this has had a great impact. The goal is being achieved and all concerned are happy. Thank you, Rosarie"............... C. H.
" I found coaching a very positive and uplifting experience and I recommend it unreservedly. Rosarie is wise and positive and funny. She has great skill for getting the best out of people".......J. H.
"At first I felt nervous about the prospect of coaching when my boss suggested it. Looking back, I don't think that I really wanted to do it, not deep down; I did not want to be vulnerable. But I said that I would because that was what I used to do. I did things that I did not want to do to please others. Coaching has taught me about that. I decided to focus on my problems at work, worrying about my decisions, getting stressed and lacking confidence. I have been learning to acknowledge what I do well, to understand what is happening when things go wrong, to be grateful for the good things in my life. It has shaped my behaviour in a positive way. I rarely panic now and I no longer binge on chocolates. One of the best things that coaching has taught me is that I do not have to accept bad behaviour from anyone, any more. I feel greatly empowered and a stronger person. I was more surprised than anyone when I was successful at a recent interview for promotion".....I. M.
" I found the sessions very helpful in sorting out many conflicting objectives I have had over the past few years and narrowing them down to manageable goals. You have been able to evoke solutions from my personal context. These revolved around my personal ambitions, social and family objectives as well as work considerations. As a result of life coaching I have organised myself better, done more exercise, eat better and managed as a bonus to get paid leave to pursue a project which I would not have achieved if I had not gone through the coaching course. Thank you very much for your able and sensitive help"................B. M.
" Rosarie provided me with opportunities to identify goals and what matters to me in my career and my personal life. I identified my strengths and abilities and tackled issues which have bothered me for some time, developing plans of action in order to deal with these things and improve my situation at work and at home. I would certainly recommend her and I intend to have further sessions when the need arises"................P.C.
